I am no travel expert. When one relies on Google and Google Maps to reach a place, or decide on eateries, one can not be called a travel writer either. But then, what happens when the Internet leaves you? You rely on your senses, the present day, and definitely the driver. Ladakh was one such tripadvisor-less experience. And I am glad we let our instincts and Ladakh guide us, for every turn held a surprise, every plan got thrown up in the air, and every day revealed a new layer of the mystical region.
